What We Do

Mayor Andy Berke has partnered with a diverse group of local established companies and entrepreneurs to launch a local TechHire initiative. As part of the initiative, the City of Chattanooga has convened a Task Force, made up of key partners like The Unum Group, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, and the Lamp Post Group to determine the needs of employers, train new workers, and recruit candidates in underrepresented communities. Through the TechHire Initiative, and these strong partnerships, Chattanooga will work to ensure citizens have access to accelerated IT Training and good, middle-class jobs.
